My name is Cathie; I work with Keilman Dental Clinic in The Dalles, Oregon. We refer to Beacon Oral Surgeons because we have found them to be a very good group to work with. A long time ago, I had a root canal done on a lower tooth, and it failed, and then I had it retreated. Once again, it failed, and it got reinfected. There was really no choice to save it. It was either take it out and put nothing there or take it out and put an implant there and have something permanent. At first, I kind of fought the idea because I thought I was too young to have an implant, but the more I’ve learned about it, the more I realized that it’s really the final restoration to have—it’s the best restoration to have. It will not fail. Knowing the doctors that we refer to (the oral surgeons) and how kind and caring they are with our patients is what led me to feel comfortable to having that procedure done.--Cathie
