Julienne is the Practice Manager for Beacon Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She has been with the practice for 23 years and has an extensive background in coding, billing, and accounting. Julienne manages the financial & human resource aspects of the practice and oversees operations of all locations. She is an avid USC football fan and her hobbies include traveling, boating, gardening, and reading. She enjoys spending time with her husband of 35 years, their family, and two precious grandchildren. She is proud to be part of our amazing team and is grateful for the opportunities that she has had to grow professionally as part of this evolving practice.
Assistant Manager/Surgical Assistant
Danielle has worked for Beacon for eight years. She has enjoyed becoming part of a team and working with really great doctors and staff. She loves to come to work because she gets to see her friends. Danielle came to our office with four years of dental experience. In her spare time, she like to spend time with her family and friends. Her favorite part of her job is interacting with the patients, getting to know them, and the opportunity to help others on a daily basis.
Assistant Manager/Implant Coordinator
Skeeter (yes, that is her real name) has been with Beacon Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for the past four years and loves to work with both the staff and patients as both our Assistant Manager and Implant Coordinator. She grew up in Maupin and enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids. When she’s not busy at our offices, she enjoys all things outdoors and spends a portion of her summertime in Central Oregon. Her favorite thing about working at Beacon Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons is her fantastic co-workers!
Gina has worked in oral and maxillofacial surgery for four years. She loves her job because she gets the opportunity to help and meet new people on a daily basis. When she’s not helping patients schedule their treatments, Gina enjoys spending time with her son and exploring the great northwest!
Arlie has been with Beacon Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons since 2010 and serves as the Financial Coordinator in The Dalles office. She is a native of The Dalles and a 2009 graduate of Oregon State University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Food Management. Arlie moved home after college to be with her family and became a member of the team at Beacon Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. In her free time, she enjoys working in her garden, baking, and spending time with family. Her favorite part of working for Beacon is the variety of her position. From answering calls, to scheduling appointments and surgeries, she’s always happy to answer any questions and loves helping patients make their treatment a reality.
Darcey has worked for Beacon Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons since 2010. She joined the practice with 12 years of oral surgery experience and seven years of general dentistry experience prior to that. She attended dental assisting school in 1995 and then started working for a general dentist in Portland for seven years as a dental assistant and in the front office. She began working for oral surgeon Dr. Rodney Nichols in 2002 as the scheduling coordinator and helped in surgery when needed. After Dr Nichols retired in 2010, Darcey began working for our office when we took over Dr Nichols’ Milwaukie practice. When Darcey is not assisting patients with their financials, she enjoys running, working out, scrapbooking, gardening, and cooking.
Implant Coordinator/Surgical Assistant
Cari has worked at Beacon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons for two years and came to us with 10 years of experience working in general dentistry. Cari loves helping and working with people. She has two daughters who she says are “amazing!” She enjoys working out, running, and doing anything outdoors in the sunshine.
Public Relations and Continuing Education Coordinator
Summer began working for Beacon Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in 2004 and came to us with seven years’ experience in oral surgery prior to joining our team. She believes in the team she is surrounded by and is proud to be a part of it. Summer enjoys spending time with her husband and three children Cally, Brooke, and Wyatt. You will commonly find them camping, riding quads and bicycles, and taking care of their “backyard chickens.”
Clinical Coordinator/Surgical Assistant/Dental Hygienist
Julie has worked for the practice since 1998. Prior to her career in oral surgery, she graduated from Humboldt State University and worked as a fisheries biologist. After completing her dental hygiene training, she worked as a dental hygienist. Since joining Beacon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, she has found that she loves working in oral surgery better. Her favorite part of the job are her co-workers and that patients are usually happier when they leave than when they arrive. Julie enjoys snow skiing with her 4-year-old in the winter and jet skiing, camping, and hiking during the summer months.
Jennifer has worked at Beacon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons since October 2001. She came to us with two years of experience working in general dentistry. The thing she loves most about working at our practice is the opportunity to educate patients, co-workers and referring offices about the many treatment options and procedures with implant dentistry we offer. Jennifer is happily married to a wonderful man and recently became a mom to a beautiful baby boy.
Implant Coordinator/Surgical Assistant
Jules started working for Beacon Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in 2006. She resides in Maupin, Oregon, on a small farm with her husband and two children. In her spare time, Jules enjoys riding her horses and spending time with her family.
Surgical Assistant & Implant Coordinator
Katy is a surgical assistant and implant coordinator at Beacon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Katy has been working in dentistry for over 7 years, starting her career in restorative dentistry. She enjoys biking, hiking, hanging out with her family, and keeping busy outdoors as much as possible. Katy’s favorite part about being a part of Beacon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons is getting to work alongside her best friends every day.
