DIEM® Full-Arch Restoration

Restore Function to Your Smile

DIEM full-arch tooth replacement is a life-changing treatment that offers patients in need of a brand new smile a faster procedure and healing time at a fraction of the cost of other replacement options. During the procedure, Dr. Lieblick and Dr. Rehrer carefully insert between four and six dental implants into the upper or lower jaw. Then, a fixed denture is attached to the implant posts, and you leave our office with a brand new, permanent, fully functioning smile.

When you have lost the majority of your teeth, options such as removable dentures or numerous implants can be expensive and the recovery can be time consuming. Full-arch restoration provides fully functioning teeth that are designed to last a lifetime with proper care. Beacon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons changes the lives of our patients in Gresham, The Dalles, Milwaukie, OR, and Camas, WA, by offering this permanent, natural-looking solution to missing teeth.

Benefits of Full-Arch Restoration

  • Only One Surgical Appointment. The new replacement teeth can be attached to the implants during the same appointment and avoid the delay that accompanies many other surgical procedures used to replace teeth. This allows patients to start enjoying the benefits of their new arch of teeth right away.
  • Preserve Jaw Bone Health. The fixed denture uses dental implants to anchor the prosthesis. The implant posts fuse to your jaw bone, keeping it strong and healthy over time. Removable dentures do not preserve the jaw bone.
  • Long-Term Results. Because the implants fuse to the jaw bone, your fixed prosthesis becomes a permanent part of your smile. It remains in your mouth during eating and cleaning and will last for many years with proper care.
  • Restored Self-Esteem. Your new smile will look and function just like a set of healthy, natural teeth. You can eat and laugh with confidence and have peace of mind knowing that your full-arch restoration actively keeps your jaw bone healthy while preserving your facial structure.

If you’re ready to achieve a complete smile you can be proud of, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with Dr. Lieblick and Dr. Rehrer. Beacon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons is here to improve your oral health while providing top-notch patient experiences every step of the way. We have offices located in Gresham, The Dalles, Milwaukie, OR, and Camas, WA.

Experience the DIEM Difference

Many patients who are unable to receive traditional replacement options, such as a fixed bridge, are still able to undergo full-arch restoration. If you are on the verge of losing an entire upper or lower arch of teeth, have already lost these teeth, or wear a prosthesis, you may be a candidate for this procedure. Oftentimes, if you are healthy enough to undergo a general surgical procedure, you are healthy enough to receive dental implants.

Am I a Candidate for Full-Arch Restoration?

DIEM is designed by Zimmer Biomet Dental, a leading manufacturer of restorative dental treatments. The DIEM system produces long-lasting aesthetic results through comprehensive dental implant therapy. The prosthesis can be inserted into one or both dental arches, depending on your individual needs. This innovative system changes the lives of patients who have suffered from extensive tooth loss or damage from trauma by quickly and permanently restoring smiles. Learn more about this system on the Zimmer Biomet Dental website.

There must be enough jaw bone to support the implants. If you have been missing teeth for many years, the bone has likely deteriorated in that area and you will require a bone graft to promote the growth of new bone. We will perform an examination during your first visit, take 3D scans, and discuss your options for anesthesia so that you remain as comfortable as possible during the procedure.

To find out if you qualify for a permanent fixed denture through full-arch restoration, contact us to schedule an appointment. Both Dr. Lieblick and Dr. Rehrer are board-certified oral surgeons who specialize in implant dentistry and designing custom restorative solutions.
